‘Interlude I’ is a Hanse 385.
After an epic search we decided on buying this yacht. The main reason was how many reports we heard of it’s strength, which meant everything if we were going to sail in open waters. We also managed to connect with a great dealer, Phil, of Inspiration Marine, who bent over backwards to help us and never once grew tired of the 500 or so emails we sent him.
We were able to charter a 385 in Sydney a few times and the layout was just perfect. She’s not too big for us to handle, but roomy enough to feel welcoming. We love the huge front berth, massive galley area and the tons of storage.
Another great reason or us is how easy she sails. Everything is led back to the cockpit and the self tacking head sail just makes life easy.
